Completion rate for Liwa entrance development project stands at 50%

Liwa: The construction work on the project to develop the entrance of the Wilayat of Liwa in North Al Batinah Governorate has reached 50% completion. The project aims to upgrade the infrastructure and enhance the aesthetics of the Wilayat's center.

Sheikh Hilal Sultan Al Kalbani, Wali of Liwa, stated that this project is one of the vital initiatives in the Wilayat aimed at strengthening both infrastructure and tourism.

He noted that the actual completion rate of the project, which extends over 4 kilometers with an estimated cost of RO 2.1 million, has reached approximately 50%.

He explained that several major works have been completed, including culvert installation and road paving, while work on the remaining components is progressing at varying rates. Efforts are underway to accelerate the implementation pace to compensate for any delays.
