
RIYADH: All 14 people on board a Saudi Aramco helicopter were killed after it crashed in Ras Tanura on Sunday morning, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy said.
According to an official statement, the helicopter crashed at around 6:00 a.m. on June 28. All those on board were Saudi nationals.
The Ministry of Energy said investigations are underway in coordination with the relevant authorities to determine the cause of the crash.
The ministry expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, praying for God's mercy and forgiveness for those who lost their lives.
No further details about the circumstances of the crash or the identities of the victims have been released.
