Muscat — Stal Gallery in Muscat is hosting the new edition of its Annual Summer Exhibition, a leading artistic and cultural event bringing together under one roof creative experiences from an elite group of prominent Omani artists and a stellar line-up of guest international artists, marking a renewed presence on the Sultanate of Oman's cultural agenda.
Running until 20 August, the exhibition comes as an extension of an established annual tradition initiated by the gallery in 2015, evolving over time into a strategic platform for showcasing and introducing Omani visual arts while integrating contemporary global perspectives. This aims to forge a cross-border creative dialogue and solidify the Sultanate of Oman's position as a hub for cultural and civilizational exchange among peoples.
In its current edition, the exhibition represents a living archive documenting the evolution of artistic concepts, performance techniques, and fine art works that reflect contemporary and fresh perspectives on the Sultanate of Oman. It affords the creative community an opportunity to explore aesthetic and social transformations through art's scrutinizing lens, contributing to enriching the knowledge and visual repertoire of those interested in the local and regional fine arts movement.
