HM the Sultan concludes visit to Angola

Luanda--- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, departed Luanda today, concluding a Royal two-day visit to the Republic of Angola.

Prior to departure, His Majesty the Sultan and President João Manuel Lourenço of the Republic of Angola, proceeded to the dais of honour in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace, where the Royal Anthem of Oman and the Angolan National Anthem were played. His Majesty then inspected the Guard of Honour, after which the President of Angola shook hands with the Omani official delegation while His Majesty the Sultan shook hands with the farewell party on the Angolan side.

His Majesty the Sultan has sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic of Angola. In the cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation. His Majesty commended the outcomes of the visit pertaining to strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the two countries and opening new horizons across various levels.
