Muscat Municipality's Baladiyati app wins award in Kuwait

Kuwait: Muscat Municipality has won the 16th Round of His Highness Sheikh Salim Al Ali Al Sabah Informatics Award for the best technology projects in the Arab World.
Smart phone application “Baladiyati” was Muscat Municipality’s entry in the section on advanced technology projects introduced by the government sector. The results were announced during the press conference held in Kuwait.
Muscat Municipality has approved its project for providing its services as part of the smart phone application under the above title which aimed to provide the municipal services to beneficiaries whenever and wherever they are.
The application makes communication with Muscat Municipality easy, mainly with Muscat Communication Centre (1111) in relation to any complaints associated with Muscat Municipality services.
