Oman Air plane's tyre bursts before take off

Muscat: Passengers and crew on board an Oman Air Salalah-Muscat flight were deplaned after a tyre burst at Salalah airport just before take-off, the airline tweeted on its official twitter handle.
“We would like to confirm that flight WY902 Salalah-Muscat, 25 Nov, suffered a tyre-burst before take-off at Salalah Airport. All passengers and crew deplaned the aircraft safely,” the airline’s tweets read.
Meanwhile, the tyre burst had affected the other flight schedules too.
Passengers onboard of Air India Express to Salalah were deplaned at Muscat Airport.
“We are here in Muscat since 10am. There is no idea when we will fly to Salalah,” a passenger said.
An official from Air India said that as the Oman Air aircraft suffered a tyre burst on the runway, they had to divert the flight to Muscat.
“Now, we heard that the aircraft has been towed away from the runway. We may be able to fly to Salalah soon,” the official added.
