Muscat: Tunisian singer, Dorsaf Hamdani dazzled the crowd in Al Bustan Palace yesterday (Tuesday) so much that they pleaded with her to perform one extra song after the show was over.
The humble superstar responded with a performance of a crowd-pleasing song of Lebanese icon Fairouz (adesh kan fi nas).
An almost full house of classical music lovers enjoyed more than ten covers of Barbara and Fairouz biggest hits as the singer made her debut in the Sultanate.
The concert was organized by the French Embassy, Lebanese Embassy, and Arabesque International.
Hamdani’s breathtaking performance marked the opening of the third season of the Muscat Chamber Music Series.
Another concert will follow in February 2017, which will be performed by the German Ensemble, Jacaranda.
