Oman crime: Three drug smugglers arrested in Dibba

Dibba: A patrol of the Coast Guard Police, Dibba managed to seize an Asian boat with three expatriates.
They were attempting to smuggle alcoholic drinks into the Sultanate.
An official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that the patrol party noticed a boat in the territorial waters off the coast of the Niyabat of Lima.
On inspection it was found that the boat was carrying a large quantity of alcoholic drinks and heroin.
Boat towed
The boat was towed to the Port of Dibba. The suspects were referred to the Dibba Police Station for further investigation. — ONA
