Moscow/Washington: The Russian defence ministry said on Tuesday a U.S. reconnaissance RC-135 plane had swerved dangerously in the proximity of a Russian Su-27 fighter jet over the Baltic Sea, RIA news agency reported.
It said the Su-27 had also intercepted another RC-135 plane in the area.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon said the Su-27's intercept was unsafe in international airspace over the Baltic Sea a day earlier, accusing the Russian pilot of flying too fast and having "poor control" over his fighter jet.
