Muscat: High School graduates and parents in Dhofar can look forward to a Higher Education exposition.
According to the Ministry of Higher Education, “Our Omani Higher Education Establishments Expo will take place between the 8th and 10th of August, from Tuesday to Wednesday, at Crown Plaza Hotel in Salalah. It is organised by Muscat Expo.”
An earlier version of the event was held in Muscat last month, where, “More than 30 educational institutions and training colleges took part.”
Such events are part of Oman’s blooming international recognition as a global player in higher education.
In multiple statements earlier today, MOHE highlighted recent findings by the British Council’s second volume of a report called ‘The Global State of Higher Edcuation’.
The statements said, “Oman achieved advanced placements in multiple Higher Education development indices, such as placing ninth globally in higher education openness and quality insurance of education, as well as an index measuring global degree recognition.”
In all of these Indices, Oman placed second in the Arab Region.
“Oman provides a successful example of the development of regulatory frameworks,” the report by BC added.
