Muscat: Participants at the World Health Organisation (WHO)'s Third Global Challenge for Eastern Mediterranean Region: Medication Without Harm, which was hosted by the Sultanate on September 17 and 18 2017 sent a cable of thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
In their cable, they expressed thanks and gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to them during their stay in the Sultanate.
They also expressed their admiration of the comprehensive development witnessed by the Sultanate in all fields, as well as the welfare enjoyed by the Omani citizens under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.
They also thanked the Sultanate represented by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) for hosting this forum, which reflects their continuous interest to develop the health system in the Sultanate.
Through the cable, WHO hailed the development witnessed by the Sultanate and the steady efforts made by the Omani government to promote this vital sector to provide quality and efficient health services, as well as its continuous and constructive cooperation with the health and international organisations and agencies.
The participants at the event expressed sincere wishes of good health, welfare and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan and further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
