Al Mouj Muscat to host Souq es Sabt

Muscat: Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s lifestyle destination, is all set to host the coming season of Souq es Sabt - Oman’s first farmers’ market - at The Walk every Saturday from November 2017 to April 2018.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Al Mouj Muscat and Garland United in pursuance of Souq es Sabt to be hosted by Al Mouj Muscat for the coming 4 years.
The concept of Souq es Sabt was started by the Omani entrepreneur Sara Al Asfoor four years ago and aims to promote home-grown businesses in the Sultanate. It is seen as an important platform for small businesses, entrepreneurs and local entertainers to showcase their products and talents. Souq es Sabt normally hosts up to 50 vendors and entrepreneurs selling a variety of products. It also features local talents, bakers, chefs, artists, artisans, crafters, designers among others.
Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat said, “We are delighted to host Souq es Sabt for the coming 4 years as a great platform that has been empowering and supporting start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to promote their products and take their first steps towards establishing a business.
