Oman’s Foreign Affairs Minister meets Iraqi counterpart

Muscat: Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs received Ibrahim Al Ja'fari, minister of Foreign Affairs in the sisterly Republic of Iraq, in his office on Thursday.
The meeting touched upon aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them in various fields. The meeting also exchanged viewpoints on a number of regional and international issues of common concern and the latest developments in the region.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, secretary general of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Issa'eei, acting undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
It was also attended form by Amal Mousa, the Iraqi ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying him.
