Muscat: Kuwait Airways will add a new flight between Muscat and Kuwait from April 2, said Rajan Jayaraman, district sales manager, Oman, Kuwait Airways.

Kuwait Airways recently signed an agreement to purchase 25 new aircraft from Airbus and 10 B777 aircraft from Boeing. “This purchase is part of the airlines’ long-term strategy of strengthening its position in the air transport industry within the region and globally,” Jayaraman added.
In order to promote new additional services, Kuwait Airways launched special promotional offers to Kuwait, for various destinations in the Indian subcontinent and the far East to attract passengers where return fares begin from OMR56 for India and the far East fares begin from OMR170 (excluding airport taxes.)
“Further, Kuwait Airways is offering additional free baggage allowance to customers travelling from Muscat during the promotional period where people can carry total of 46 kilograms (kgs) of baggage divided into two pieces not exceeding 23 kgs per piece in the economy class,” he stated.
Kuwait Airways will also send an SMS on registered customers’ mobile phones alerting them about confirmation of seats, expiry of time limit to purchase tickets and any change in the timing of the departure of flights booked. “The service will keep passengers informed about the current status of their travel details and is available in both, English and Arabic,” he said, adding that Kuwait Airways offers best in-flight service to its customers.
