RNO celebrates the joining of Sadah vessel

Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) celebrated at Said bin Sultan Naval Base the arrival of Sadah vessel to its navy fleet. The celebration was held under the patronage of Maj. Gen Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) in the presence of a number of senior SAF, military, security and RNO officers.
The chief guest and invitees were briefed on the vessel and departments which were equipped with state of the art marine equipment that meet the needs of RNO.
Harib bin Rashid Al Rahbi, Director of Operations and Planning at RNO headquarters' said that the vessel is one of four advanced vessels that will be built for RNO by Singapore Technology and Engineering Company to enable RNO to play its national roles efficiently.
On the sidelines of the event, RAO Commander handed over the operational efficiency shield to captain of Al Shamikh vessel of RNO.
