Siberia: At least 64 people have been killed after a fire swept through a Siberian shopping mall.
More than 100 people were evacuated as the fire tore through the building on Sunday, March 25, night and people were seen jumping from windows.
As dawn broke in Russia's coal-producing Kemerovo region, heavy black smoke was still billowing. Rescue services were still searching for 16 people who were missing, among that number could be children.
Deputy Head of Kemerovo Region Emergencies MInistry, Yevgeny Dedyukhin said, "Those who have called us said that they cannot contact their children or some adults, who were in this shopping mall at the moment of fire".
Emergency services say the smoke was coming from the fourth floor which includes a cinema and children's playing rooms.
