Regent Airways to start Oman-Bangladesh flights from April 7

Muscat: One more airline is going to start operations between Bangladesh and Oman, which will help ease travelers’ woes.
Regent Airways, one of the leading private aviation companies in Bangladesh, will operate four flights per week for the first time between Oman and Bangladesh from April 7, local agent of the airline said.
“We have already started bookings. We are receiving a good response,” an official from the airline’s local office told Times of Oman.
The airlines will use their newly acquired Boeing 737-800 aircraft for the Dhaka-Chittagong-Muscat flight, the fifth international route of Regent.
Initially, the flight will operate four days a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The return flight will leave Muscat at midnight and make a stop-over at Chittagong and finally land in Dhaka.
Including all taxes, the minimum fare of Dhaka-Muscat has been fixed at Tk20,565 (approx OMR101)for one-way trip and Tk39,478 (approx OMR194)for return trip. The one-way Chittagong-Muscat trip will cost Tk19,005 (approx OMR93)and the return trip Tk39,244 (approx OMR193).
Besides, each passenger will be allowed to carry 20kg of luggage from Bangladesh for free, and it will be 45kg from Oman to Bangladesh.
