Muscat: Gulf Muscat United, the diversified development and construction group, is set to announce construction of Muscat’s newest office complex, which is poised to be Oman’s smartest and most energy efficient business hub when completed in early 2018, raising the bar for futuristic and iconic architectural design and setting new standards for energy efficiency.
Commenting on the upcoming launch, Mehdi Borhani, chairman of Gulf Muscat United noted, “This project was conceptualised to cater to the rapid rise of the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector, allowing business owners to enjoy freehold ownership of their own office space, versus the ongoing costs of renting. The availability of quality office space in Muscat is very limited, and the opportunity to enjoy freehold ownership for commercial office space even more so.”
The as-yet unnamed office tower will be located in the Bausher area of Muscat, and in close proximity to Muscat Grand Mall. The design, which is penned by an Oman based architectural firm, adopts a contemporary architectural design approach and will blend futuristic and Omani influences in a striking manner.
Highlighting the growing demand for modern office space and working environments in the Sultanate, Borhani added, “The modern workplace is evolving, so our environments need to be modern to keep pace with these shifting trends. The increasing rate of urbanisation and connectivity offered by new technologies is driving this trend. This project will transform the nature of the office space offering in Muscat, creating an ultra-modern working environment that caters to the evolving needs of business managers and office professionals in Oman.”
“We are excited to shortly announce this groundbreaking new project, and we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable developments that respond to the rising demand for modern office space and quality working environments in the Sultanate,” Borhani added.
