Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Irfan arrives in Muscat

Muscat: Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Irfan will be in the audience, attending a cricket tournament in Muscat on Sunday.
The match will take place will commence at 9:00 pm at Yahya Construction Ground in Bausher.
The chairman of Pakistan Social Club (PSC) Mian Mohammmad Munir announced that Irfan would attend the finals of both the MRI and Tape ball tournaments.
PSC vice chairman Shabbir Ahmed called upon cricket lovers in Muscat to come down and see Irfan, the tallest player to have ever played international cricket. Irfan towers at 7 feet and one inch.
PSC general secretary, Mohammad Zaeem asked fans to make sure to attend the finals. “Entry to the ground is free. A special stall has been set up by Haikal restaurant to serve cricket players and spectators with mouth-watering Pakistani dishes at a nominal cost,” he said.
Director of PSC Kaleem Akhtar and head of PSC sports wing Syed Jameel Zaidi expressed delight that a player like Mohammad Irfan, who has played at the international stage will be attending the match.
Zaidi revealed that the tape ball tournament winner will be awarded $1,000, while the runner-up will get $500. Moreover, the MRI ball tournament winners will get $500, while runners-up will be rewarded $250, he added. Akhtar said that the spectators could also win exciting prizes.
