Unlicensed stores, warehouses shut by municipal authorities in Oman

Muscat: Warehouses used to store refrigeration equipment were reprimanded by Muscat Municipality for operating without having obtained a proper license, the agency said on Wednesday.

"The General Directorate of Muscat Municipality in the Wilayat of Bausher, represented by the Urban Inspection Department, has reprimanded a company in the area of Misfah for violating local regulations by running a store and warehouse for refrigeration equipment without obtaining a license to carry out this activity," the municipality announced.

In an earlier statement, the municipality said that they had also closed down a number of shops in Bausher for operating with expired municipal licenses.
