Two arrested for theft, breaking and entering in Oman

Muscat: Two people were arrested for theft, and breaking and entering, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced on Sunday.
According to officials, one Omani citizen broke into a house and stole some gold, while the second person raided a shop and stole cash.
In a statement online ROP said, "The Criminal Investigation Department at Al Khabourah police station arrested one citizen over breaking into a house and stealing some gold. Meanwhile, Shinas police station arrested one person who broke into a shop and stole some cash." Both defendants were referred to judicial authorities to complete the legal proceedings.
