Consumers can now file complaints online against insurance companies through a new online portal that has been introduced by Oman’s Capital Market Authority.
The online complaints portal serves as a channel for communication between the authority and all the entities subject to the authority's control.
That includes both the Capital Market and Insurance sectors.
“The aim of the service is to allow users to report any illegal or immoral violations, irregularities or corruption in such entities that may cause damage to the shareholders, the company or to the public.” - Capital Market Authority
