Oman's State Council reviews agenda for joint meeting with Majlis Al Shura

Muscat: State Council reviewed the agenda of joint meeting with Majlis Al Shura, which will be held next Monday.
It reviewed yesterday its 11th meeting of the 1st annual sitting of the 6th term under the chair of Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council and stressed the importance of joint meetings in the development of work and communication between the two sides.
The State Council office also reviewed the follow up reports on the decisions taken at its previous meeting, in addition to reviewing the follow-up report of activities of the committees during the period between this meeting and the previous meeting.
The office also assessed the 7th and 8th regular sessions of the first annual sitting of the 6th term held on April 19 and April 20, 2016. It discussed a set of proposals made by some members of various standing committees and was briefed on several letters from several institutions concerned.
