Oman crime: Drug traffickers held in Barka

Muscat: Three Asian expatriates were arrested in Barka on charges of possessing, abusing and trafficking drugs, Royal Oman Police (ROP) reported on Wednesday.

An ROP official said that the accused have entered the Sultanate illegally.

More than 12,000 tablets of narcotics, two kilogram of heroine and 2 kg of opium were seized from them.
