Oman condemns attack on US embassy

Oman on Thursday condemned the attack on the US embassy in Baghdad.

“The Sultanate condemns the attack on the United States embassy in Iraq. It is a violation of international agreements and norms.” – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Recently, dozens of protesters broke into the US embassy compound in Baghdad, smashing the main door and setting fire to a reception area.

Officials said that the Sultanate appreciates the efforts made by the Iraqi government to overcome this.
