Open shops during mourning period

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry have asked commercial centers including supermarkets providing foodstuffs to be opened during the mourning period.

This was also done in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

In a statement issued on Sunday, OCCI urged shops to be opened to serve the needs of the people.

Oman is observing a three-day mourning period following the passing of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
