Take caution against street vendors

Attendants have been asked not to deal with street vendors in order to eliminate indiscriminate sales.

This was cautioned by the Muscat Municipality.

"The municipality calls upon attendants of the Central Market for Vegetables and Fruits not to deal with street vendors, in order to eliminate indiscriminate sales and in order to ensure the safety of consumers and to be in line with the market system." – Muscat Municipality

Officials added that the municipality is intensifying its practical and legal procedures in cooperation with the relevant authorities to address this phenomenon.
