Nama Group to establish fund to pay electricity dues of limited income families in Oman

Muscat: Nama Group has announced that it will establish a fund to pay electricity dues of some categories in the Sultanate due to the direct impact of COVID- 19.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “Nama Group decides to establish a fund to subsidize the families of social security, limited income and the category of small and medium companies due to the direct impact of COVID-19.”

This fund aims to pay electricity dues and support it in the amount of OMR 300,000 provided by the group, and it is expected to complete all procedures related to this initiative in the next month,” the statement added.
