Tropical storm Nisarga to hit west coast of India

Muscat: Tropical storm Nisarga has started passing through the western Indian coastline.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "Tropical storm Nisarga has started crossing the west coast of India."

Nisarga started as tropical depression formed in the South-eastern part of the Arabian sea on Sunday and then developed into a tropical storm. It is not expected to affect the Sultanate's coast, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
