MSM index ends lower

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 13.4 points, comprising a decline by 0.37 per cent to close at 3,590.79 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,604,21  points.
The trading value stood at OMR1,517,823, comprising a decline of 53.8 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR986,882.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value dropped by 0.036 per cent to reach about OMR19.88 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR116,000, comprising 7.66 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR88,000, comprising 5.77 per cent.  
The net non-Omani investment rose by 1.89 per cent to OMR29,000.
