London: The Sultanate has advanced 11 places in the Government Artificial Intelligence Readiness Index 2020 issued by the UK-based Oxford Insights.
The Sultanate has bagged the 48th place at the international level with an average of 52.099 points compared to the 59th place, last year.
The United States has bagged the first place in the index followed by the United Kingdom, Finland, Germany, Sweden and Singapore, respectively.
The index measures the governments’ readiness for the use of artificial intelligence technologies for provision of public services to their respective citizens.
