'Tree day' celebrated in Sohar

Muscat: Sohar Municipality has celebrated 'Tree Day' which falls annually on 31st October.

A statement issued online by Sohar Municipality said: "Sohar Municipality celebrated this morning 'Tree Day', which falls on October 31, by planting a number of seedlings in the park near Sohar Secondary School. During the simple ceremony, health precautions were applied including spacing and wearing masks."
