HM the Sultan confers Order of Merit on professor Fred Scholz

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has conferred the Order of Merit, First Class, on Professor Fred Scholz in appreciation from His Majesty for Scholz's efforts and scholarly contributions in the Sultanate during the past years. 

The order was handed over by Yousef Said Al Amri, Oman's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany when he received Professor Fred Scholz at the Sultanate's Embassy in Berlin on Wednesday.
