Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested six expats for smuggling narcotic substances.
A statement issued online by ROP said: "The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has arrested six expatriates on charges of smuggling narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking in them and participating with international gangs in the Governorate of Muscat. Rop has seized a large amount of crystal morphine and hashish, in addition to an amount of opium. Legal procedures are being completed against them.
