Fourth stage of opinion poll on government services in Oman underway

Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), has  implemented the fourth stage of a survey regarding government services in Oman.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “The National Centre for Statistics and Information has started implementing the fourth stage of Omani opinion polls on government services, with the aim of getting acquainted with opinions on a number of issues related to the services provided by the government to the citizen and the level of their evaluation of the services of some government institutions with which they deal."

"The survey includes five basic criteria for evaluating government services, which are: ease of procedures, speed of obtaining service, fees, service quality, and evaluation of service providers."

The survey will last till April 15 and targets citizens who are 18 years of age and over. The sample size is 1,500 individuals from all governorates of the Sultanate, who are randomly selected according to scientific statistical methodologies.This number allows obtaining estimates of most of the percentages to be estimated in the poll at the overall level of the Sultanate and the governorates within the limits of a margin of error of no more than 3 per cent and a confidence level of 95 per cent,” the statement added.
