Muscat: Over 52,000 general education diploma(GED) students and members of authority supervising general diploma exams have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine between the period from 26th May till 2nd June, 2021
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said :"The Ministry of Health and Education continues the campaign to vaccinate general education diploma students and the authority supervising general diploma exams in all governorates of the Sultanate. A total of 52,892 people have been given the COVID-19 vaccines so far which amounts to 70 per cent. "
"Muscat Governorate recorded the highest vaccination rate, with 13,588 vaccinated people with a rate 80 per cent, followed by North Al Batinah Governorate, 9,933 people, or 72 per cent and Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, where 8,101 people were vaccinated or 77 per cent," the statement added.
