Muscat: An Asian boat was seized for attempting to smuggle 16 violators of the labour and residence laws out of Oman.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) tweeted from its official account: "Coast Guard Police boats led by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police, seized an Asian boat off the coast of the Wilayat of Suwaiq consisting of a two member crew, who attempted to smuggle 16 violators of the labour and residence laws out of Oman. Legal procedures are being completed against them."
