New postage stamp released in Oman

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with 'Oman Post', inaugurated a postage stamp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sultanate of Oman's membership to the United Nations on October 8, 1971.

The commemorative stamp bears a picture of His Highness Sayyid Tarik bin Taimur Al Said, head of the Omani delegation giving the first speech of the Sultanate of Oman at the United Nations on the occasion.
