2 tablespoons roasted gram flour
(1/2") piece ginger
2 cloves garlic, grated
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1/2 cup spinach blanched, drained and roughly chopped
1/4 cup green peas, boiled
1/4 cup mashed potatoes
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons whole wheat bread crumbs
1 teaspoon oil for cooking
Combine the spinach, green peas, green chillies and gram flour and blend to a coarse paste without using any water.
Add the potatoes to this and season with salt, chaat and garam masala and mix well.
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into flat round cutlets.
Roll the cutlets in the bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and cook on both sides till they are golden brown in colour.
Serve hot with chutney.
