Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), on Monday started the 2nd edition of an opinion poll on satisfaction with government services across the governorates of Oman. The poll will run till 30 May 2024.
The poll aims to measure satisfaction with government services provided by governors’ offices in general and the municipal services, as well as measuring the extent to which satisfaction with these services has changed in each governorate. Those opinions will be compared to the outputs of the first edition of the same survey, which was implemented by the NCSI at the end of 2023.
Through the outputs of the poll, the NCSI formulate six basic indicators for each governorate, including the general satisfaction index, the satisfaction index of hygiene and public health services in the governorate, the satisfaction index of the governorate’s efforts in market management and control, the satisfaction index of the governorate’s development efforts, the satisfaction index of the management and maintenance of parks, and the satisfaction index of electronic government services in governors’ offices.
It is worth noting that this poll is implemented semi-annually. The data is collected through e-questionnaires that are completed via telephone interviews.
