Dialogue session highlights optimal use of digital spaces

Izki:  A "dialogue session" titled “Digital Spaces and Their Relationship to Quality of Life” was held, today, in the Wilayat of Izki to raise awareness among youth about the optimal use of digital spaces while fostering constructive communication between children and their caretakers.

The session, organized by the Directorate of Social Development in Izki, discussed social media platforms, which have become influential spaces shaping daily life patterns and redefining the concept of quality of life across its economic, social, cultural, and psychological dimensions.

The Director of Social Development, Sheikha Said Al Tiywani, said that digital spaces have become an integral part of daily life. She added that these spaces offer new opportunities for remote learning and work, as well as support government and scientific services efficiently. However, they also carry challenges and risks that require responsible awareness and balanced policies that consider human and social values.

The session was held under the auspices of Ashraf Ahmed Al Busaidi, Wali of Izki, in the presence of Dr. Abdulrahman Suleiman Al Shahi, Director General of Social Development in the A’Dakhiliyah Governorate, along with a number of officials.
