"Nation’s Readiness 2025" exercise concludes

Muscat: The national exercise "Nation's Readiness 2025” concluded today in the Muscat Governorate. The two-day exercise was conducted by the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) in collaboration with relevant authorities to test and enhance national response capabilities.

The closing ceremony of the exercise was held under the auspices of Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Water Resources. The event was attended by several military commanders, officials, and dignitaries in the Wilayat of Quriyat.

The final proceedings included a comprehensive briefing on the exercise's objectives and hypotheses, followed by the execution of several practical simulations. These field operations mimicked expected events during emergencies, such as evacuation, search, and rescue missions, with the active participation of various sectors under the National Committee for Emergency Management and the Sub-committee for Emergency Management in Muscat.
