Kuwait— The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that 10 members of the armed forces were injured after a military camp was targeted in an aerial attack involving missiles and drones.

Spokesperson Saud Al-Atwan said that Kuwait’s air defense systems intercepted 14 ballistic missiles and 12 drones that entered the country’s airspace over the past 24 hours. Despite these efforts, some projectiles struck a military site, causing injuries and material damage.

The injured personnel were transferred for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

The attack also targeted warehouses belonging to a private logistics company, resulting in property damage without any human casualties.

Al-Atwan revealed that since February 28, Kuwait has faced a significant number of aerial threats, including 307 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 616 drones.

Authorities emphasized that the armed forces remain on high alert and continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard the country’s security.
