Candidacy for Municipal Council membership elections to open on Sunday

Muscat: The Ministry of Interior has announced that the application period for candidacy in the fourth-term Municipal Council elections will commence this Sunday, 5 April 2026, and will continue until Thursday, 23 April 2026.

The Ministry of Interior invites eligible candidates who meet the requirements for Municipal Council membership to submit their applications via the "Intakhib" application or the official election website (elections.om),by completing the designated electronic form and attaching the required documents.
