Dhaka: The Republic of India will resume tourist visa services for Bangladeshi citizens starting June 28, 2026, following a nearly two-year suspension.
The announcement was made by the newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, during a visit to the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Dhaka shortly after presenting his credentials to the President.
The tourist visa services are scheduled to resume across five selected visa application centres, including the facility in the capital city of Dhaka.
