
Salalah--- The Ministry of Labour has discussed the challenges facing the private sector, alongside presenting a package of proposals and ideas aimed at modernizing the labour system and enhancing the quality of services provided to enterprises.
This came during a meeting held today by Dr. Mahad Said Ba'owin, Minister of Labour, with business owners and investors at the headquarters of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Dhofar Governorate.
The meeting featured a dialogue session entitled "Strategic Dialogues and Shared Visions with the Private Sector for a Sustainable Labour Market," which addressed a number of topics, including enhancing the efficiency of employment and training programmes to empower national cadres, as well as aligning outcomes with labour market requirements and rapid economic developments.
The meeting is part of the "Labour Forum 2026" activities, aimed at strengthening partnership with the private sector and opening direct channels of dialogue with business owners to discuss labour market-related issues.
