
Muscat: The Wilayat of Al Hamra in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the Sultanate of Oman which was 28 mm during three days from August 22 till August 24,2026.
According to the data issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources(MAFWR) , the Wilayat of Al Hamra recorded the highest amount of rainfall at 28 mm, followed by the Wilayats of Al Buraimi in Al Buraimi Governorate, Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate and Nizwa in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate with 19 mm for each , then the Wilayat Salalah in Dhofar Governorate with 14 mm, during the period from August 22 to 24.
The Wilayat of Taqah in Dhofar Governorate has received 9 mm of rainfall, 8 mm in the Wilayat of Al Qabil in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and 7 mm in the wilayats of Samail and Dima Wattayyen.
