Oxygen masks deployed on Oman Air flight to Philippines

Muscat: Oxygen masks were deployed on an Oman Air flight to the Philippines, the national carrier announced in a statement.

Oman Air flight WY843 from Muscat to Manila experienced low air pressure inside the cabin while approaching Manila international airport, the airline said on Tuesday.

"The oxygen masks onboard were automatically activated and the flight landed safely," the airline said in a online statement on Tuesday night.
The national carrier apologised to customers and thanked all support services for ensuring all passengers and crew disembarked safely.
