Oman weather: Rain in Muscat, Quriyat, Sohar, Buraimi

Muscat: Residents in different parts of Muscat, Quriyat, Sohar and Buraimi are reporting light to moderate rain fall on Thursday morning.
“Skies are cloudy and it has started to rain in Darsait and Muttrah areas,” residents said.

Residents in Buraimi also reported that there were light rain on Wednesday night and its continuing today morning too.
According to meteorology department’s latest forecast, skies will be cloudy in the northern parts of Oman.
“There will be drop in temperature in rest of Oman,” the forecast added.
Meanwhile, public authority for civil defense and ambulances has issued an advisory to public on being cautious during crossing low lying areas and wadis.
