1162 new coronavirus cases, 9 deaths reported in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 1162 new coronavirus cases and 9 deaths in Oman.

The total cases in the country have now touched 159218 including 143966 recoveries and 1678 deaths, according to MOH.

In the past 24 hours, 568 recoveries were reported.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH.
